Can you charge a Garmin Nuvi with a computer usb port?
I just brought a brand new Garmin Nuvi GPS system and am not sure can I charge it with a usb cord into my computer’s usb port? The instructions said I can use an ac adapter which I don’t have yet or the car charger which I do have. But I need to charge it at home. It lights up when I plug it in and the screen shows an icon of a usb and a computer, but I am not sure, does that mean that it is charging or not?
Yes it will charge. It’s a slow charge but that’s actually a good thing. I own a Nuvi and charge it that way allot.
